- 2 lbs beef chuck steak
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Season the beef chuck steak with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the steak on all sides until browned.
- Add garlic and onion to the skillet and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
- Add rosemary sprigs to the skillet.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and cook for 2-3 hours or until tender.
- Remove from oven, let it rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.
