Ingredients

  • 4 pounds beef brisket
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Place sliced onions in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Rub garlic and spices on the brisket.
  3. Place brisket on top of onions.
  4. Mix broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
  5. Pour mixture over the brisket.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until tender.
  7. Remove brisket and let it rest before slicing.
  8. Serve with cooking juices.

  • For extra flavor, sear the brisket before placing it in the slow cooker.
  • Adjust seasoning to your taste.
